Jim Bain will be appearing as a panelist at the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council's 10th Annual Business Forum. The ABF provides educational opportunities for entrepeneurs and a chance for them to network with venture capitalists. The workshop panel will be convening on December 6th at 10:45am. The Annual Business Forum takes place at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate Business School. 300 entrepeneurs and venture capitalists from 6 states have registered for this year's ABF. |

Charlottesville, VA  Jim Bain, a principle at Flying Dog Media, will be presenting on Google Analytics, a web statistics reporting application at the quarterly meeting of Virginia Local Government Web Alliance. The meeting is being held on August 1, 2007 at the University of Virginia in the Newcomb Hall Room 481 (4th floor). The Virginia Local Government Web Alliance provides a forum and resources for all Virginia local governments to develop, manage and improve their Web initiatives.
Update: The meeting location has changed to the Newcomb Hall Art Gallery on the third floor. |

Jim Bain, a principle at Flying Dog Media, will be presenting "Creating Your First Podcast" at the Virginia Piedmont Tech Tour. Tech Tour is a day-long event to introduce area high school students to our region’s technology companies. The tour is designed to expose students to the diverse career possibilities offered by our regional technology community and to help them envision themselves as technology innovators.
When: Thursday, October 26, 2006 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Where: Piedmont Virginia Community College Dickinson Building and regional technology companies
Who: Approximately 300 high school students and 50 technology companies are scheduled to participate.
